New designs for summer

Have been trying to come up with new ideas of light jackets for summertime, but since I’m due to go to Australia in the next couple of months, I have started working as barmaid at my local pub, to save some pennies.  I haven't had much chance to design or make anything, and the shop I sell my things at in Edinburgh is almost out of stock!  Wishing there was more hours in the day!!

So the little time I do have, I’ve managed to design and make a couple of things.  Harris tweed was ordered to make 2 little crop style jackets.  These jackets were inspired by my red chinese jacket that I always wore when I was a student and I haven't been able to bring myself to chuck it out - even though it doesn't fit anymore and is now ripped - it just has so many good memories!  So once I had made them both, I ran over to my good friend Sue, to model them - and what a great model too!!
